1. Initial commitment period

Your membership agreement has a minimum Initial Commitment Period of 104 weeks from the start of your first fortnightly billing period and will automatically renew, after the Initial Commitment Period for further fortnightly Commitment Periods until terminated by you.

2. Termination/cancellation process

If you break up with us in your Initial Commitment Period, an Early Termination fee of $695 is payable if you are within the first 12 months of your Initial Commitment Period. If you are in your second 12 months, the lesser of $500 or the amount outstanding by you under your 24 Month Agreement will be payable.

3. Using Other Clubs

Active Me members can visit our Virgin Active clubs in Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Italy, the United Kingdom (except Chiswick Riverside, Mayfair and Kensington) and South Africa, subject to our Reciprocal Rights Policy.

4. Your Personal Data

We will collect personal information from you that may relate to your physical health or condition, including through your Membership Application Form, a Change of Circumstances Form and Health Check Questionnaire. Should you default on payments due to us we may notify the default to a credit reference agency or other third party to obtain payment from you. 5. First Billing Day

Your first fortnightly dues will be debited on the next scheduled fortnightly direct debit after the club opens and then on the first day of each subsequent fortnightly billing period.

6. Fortnightly Dues

By completing the Payment section, you authorise Virgin Active to deduct your fortnightly dues from your nominated account.

7. Freeze

If you wish to suspend or “freeze” your membership, simply let us know in writing or by completing a Change of Circumstances form at your home club. Your membership may be frozen for one or more consecutive whole fortnightly billing periods (i.e., a minimum of 2 weeks to a maximum of 12 weeks) and cannot be frozen for only a part of a fortnight. Simply let us know in writing at least 3 days (by the close of business on Sunday) before the direct debit date. You will not be able to use the Club when your membership is frozen. A freeze of your membership will also freeze the calculation of your initial commitment period. A freeze fee (set out in your Home Club Pricelist) applies.

8. Cooling Off Period

If you change your mind within 7 days from the date you signed up with us, we’ll refund your upfront payment and any membership dues when you return your goodies to us. If you’ve used your membership during this time, we’ll deduct any guest fees, personal training fees or other club services you’ve received.

9. Home and Away Rules

Active Me members can use any Virgin Active clubs in Singapore free of charge so long as members uses their home club more than their away club. Where a member is using their away club more than their home club we’ll ask the member to transfer to that other club. A transfer fee will apply.

10. Group exercise bookings

To keep things fair, you can have 6 bookings at any given time and 3 of these can be hot classes. These are the super popular classes marked on the timetable with a flame symbol. Cancel before 9pm to avoid strikes. Cancellations after 9pm and before 1 hour of the class start time incur 1 strike. Cancellations within 1 hour or no shows incur 2 strikes. If 6 strikes are incurred in a calendar month, maximum bookings at any given time will be reduced to 1 booking for 4 weeks (28 days). Members can still attend a class without a booking if there is a spot available.

11. 8 Weeks Half Price

Join Virgin Active Singapore on a 12 or 24 month membership between 12.01am 1 July 2026 and 11.59pm 31 July

2026 and receive 8 weeks of membership dues at half price. Virgin Active will apply the offer to the member’s first full direct debits such that the Member will receive four fortnightly Membership Dues (or freeze fee) payments discounted by 50%. The offer is the equivalent of four (4) weeks of Membership Dues or Freeze Fees, as applicable when the discount is being applied. The Total Minimum Commitment shown during the sign up process will not account for the discounted value of membership. Your Total Minimum Commitment will be reduced by the offer. Early termination fee applies if membership is cancelled during the 12 or 24 month Initial Commitment Period. Offer not available in conjunction with any other offer and excludes personal training and other services.
