The Gig:

Roles & Responsibilities

Support program delivery to maximise its growth and occupancy, work together with your GX peer mates and support them in the represented program.
To work alongside and contribute regularly to the global Pilates team, to commit to the consistency of the global Pilates team, helping to move Pilates forward globally and in Singapore.
Support recruitment and on-going training and development.
Personally deliver classes with the uniqueness that’s given you a rock star following.
Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates our program from the market.
Active in Social media to create positive messaging about you as program ambassador and Virgin Active as the choice of brand making exercise irresistible.
Use well developed industry knowledge to strategically direct program development.
Coach, develop and motivate all team members delivering group ex to achieve agreed targets (partnering with group ex managers to ensure a united approach to feedback).
Advocate safety and ensure an overall safe environment for members and team members.
Communicate the value proposition of the program to the broader team and create a culture where the community become raving fans.
Liaise with the Head of Exercise Experience to assess, monitor and improve program delivery and support the team with EL (‘Experience Leader’) responsibilities.

About You:

  1. You have your Certificate in Group Exercise & Fitness (or recognised instructor qual), a rock star group exercise reputation, your first aid, flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule.
  2. You have good teaching experience in studios.
  3. You have aligned experience. You know how to support programs and encourage mindfulness of the people around you. You’re an athlete and performer. Both equally. You love to support and provide suggestions to improve program standards as much as you love to deliver them. You’re comfortable receiving feedback and good in application. You may also be so connected to the industry that you can predict future opportunities. A+ for you.
  4. You are people-focused. You’re a raw and magnetic personality. You get a kick out of getting people to those I did it! moments. You’re confident and cool under pressure. Inspiring the community to push themselves to new heights (one class at a time) makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. You love a friendly plank competition.
