Although I was already into training prior
to joining Virgin Active, I’d stopped making gains and my progression was
stagnant after doing the same routine for 8 years. I decided to pay Virgin
Active a visit because I badly needed to get out of the rut and wanted to find
a more conducive place to improve my fitness.
I was sold on Virgin Active after my first
visit to the Raffles Place club. Besides the sleeping pods and Himalayan Salt Inhalation
room, the club was filled with impressive gym equipment, some of which I’ve
never even seen before! They were also the first to bring in classes like ThirtyHIIT
and AntiGravity Yoga at that time. It was the complete package. The club had
(and still has) a friendly and down-to-earth vibe that made me feel very welcome
and at home.
Joining Virgin Active has also made me more
open to trying different types of fitness classes and sports. I had never try
Yoga, attempted a deadlift or seen a kettlebell before joining the club. I’ve
been able to achieve many new personal bests since I joined the club and I
definitely attribute to my progress to the group classes. I really love the HIIT classes!
Virgin Active has become the sanctuary I go
to for stress relief and my daily workout sessions are my main motivation to
get me through my days at work. I love working out because it makes me feel
alive, and there’s no place I’d rather work out at than at Virgin Active.
