This role is all about identifying, attracting, hiring and retaining the right people that will thrive in their job and fit well in Virgin Active culture. With end to end responsibilities, you’ll find our Virgin DNA, and keep them engaged by scoping out, creating and delivering high quality learning solutions throughout the business.
•Determine hiring approach, develop advertising content, manage job postings and respond to resumes.
•Manage candidate database and respond to queries coming into the People mailbox.
•Manage requisition process.
•Build key relationships and partner with universities and polytechnics for future hiring needs.
•Support interview process for club launch, run recruitment days and manage Central interview process.
•Educate managers on the competitive market and trends and work together to develop solutions to any skill shortages.
•Update org charts and workforce plans (inc vacancies, FTEs, sourcing costs and time-to-fill).
•Support scoping of new positions and source recruitment partners where needed.
•Oversee contract issue, new starter packs, reference checks, MOM visa process and visa eligibility.
•Work with the National People Manager, to create and develop the perfect People Experience
•Partner with the management team to build and implement L&D solutions in line with our business strategy (and People Promise).
•Conduct training needs analysis and advise on course content, training delivery, training vendor relationships, course participation, training logistics and programs in the areas of mentoring and coaching.
•Collaborate with the National People Manager to deliver the performance review approach and ongoing succession development.
•Identify areas of long-term strategic development within L&D.
